Holy El Salvadorian pupusas moly! Don Julio's is a must if you're passing through Rohnert Park. Was looking for some takeout dinner, and saw that their pupusas got hella high ratings. Had to check them out. Parking is a-plenty, but tight quarters in a strip mall with other shops. I had to wait a little longer, but they have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating while you wait. Staff is the STAR of the show. Everybody here is SO nice, and the music playing overhead just guarantees a good time. They have cocktail drinks and lots of food options for all! I loved their yucca sola plate. I haven't had fried yucca in a while, and it was such a throwback to taste deliciously crispy and chewy yucca. Their pupsas are FUEGO. Plus they give HUGE portions of refried beans and Mexican rice. I love the lil picked veggies/salad in the to-go orders too. Will definitely be back, seems so family and group-friendly. A local hub!

super cute little place,the staff very welcoming and helpful, I was over on that side of town and have seen a lot of good reviews so stopped in for a little snack I tried the Chicken Pupusa never had one before very delicious & a tamale with their mango salsa delicious as well. I will definitely go back I want to try some different Pupusa

Chat, I really did not expect one of the best pupusas I've had to be found in the North Bay. However, that was a hella fine pupusa burger, two words I hadn't imagined together. The pupusas were crispy and cheesy, and the carnitas in the middle were perfectly fried and seasoned. I wouldn't advise using your hands if you want even a shred of decorum remaining. I would suggest you make your way here immediately if you're in the San Rafael/Santa Rosa area.

One of the best pupusa spots I've ever been to! My husband and I ordered a few pupusas and the corn tamale which were all delicious. We're not in this area often, but happy to know we have a spot to come back to next time. We also really appreciated how friendly the staff were! Highly recommend! :)

Yum! My tummy is happy! I had the papusa revuelvta and the sweet corn tamale with white beans and fried plantains! OMG! Good! My son had the papusa burger and he loved it. The service was outstanding and the owner was so nice and welcoming and accommodating. If you are in the Rohnert Park area and are wondering if you should try this, yes yes yes!

We love Evelyn and her family papusas! I usually go to the combo and recently tried the jalapeno cheese papusa. Delicious! They are so friendly and nice every time we go there. My son tried the hamburger papusa and he highly recommends this to those with a hearty appetite. This hidden gem is becoming a regular stop for us.

Go Here Now!!!!! It is so incredibly good, I was talking to my food! I had to get the pupusa burger, which is crazy genius! I got it with the steak which was perfectly seasoned, and just an amazing burst of flavor, along with some chips and guac, a few tamales, and another pupusa to try. It was all amazing! And I'm PICKY. I tried so hard to finish it all but I was stuffed so I put it in the fridge and went back to it later and it reheated nicely! Support this business! The customer service was smiley and so kind and thoughtful. It's so refreshing to meet people who actually care about their customers and their product. They will definitely be seeing me again soon and all the people I send their way!

Locally owned Pupusas and Mexican restaurant. I don't know why this place isn't more popular. Interior is no thrills but they do have some outside seating. I always get the two pupusas combo and tonight my husband ventured away from pupusas and tried their Beef tropical burrito. They have different pupusas options I got one chicken, bean and cheese and the other pork, bean and cheese. He said the burrito was good but would stick with their pupusas next time because they are better. Pupusas combo great portion size for the price. I always bring home leftovers. But that could also be because I got HAM on chips. Service was great and while there were only two people waiting tables, taking care of take out, and cleaning tables, I didn't feel like I was ignored. Very attentive. I gave them 5 stars but I would really give 4.75. I wish Yelp allowed us to give partial scoring. The hidden gem of RP! After seeing Don Julio's all over social media and yelp I finally had the opportunity to try them for dinner while finishing up my Xmas shopping in the area. We came in with big appetites and were greeted and seated immediately within seconds of arriving. One thing that stood out to me immediately was the hospitality and kindness from staff. From start to finish everyone we encountered showed attentiveness and made conversation. My brother compared it to dining at a relatives house. Lol. My younger brother had the pupusa burger that he ate about 80% of! He rated it a 10/10. I had a few bites and it was very delicious. The pupusa burger is one of the most popular items on their menu and it did not disappoint! My pupusas revueltas were filling and fresh. I got full very quickly and took my left over pupusas to go. Again as we wrapped up I had the opportunity to chat with staff and they went over more specials and hours. Overall I give Don Julio's a 10/10 for service. Dining out can feel like a treat for most of us during these times and I must say money was well spent today.

What a great find. Just happened to be in the area getting gas and needed to get some food on the way to Petaluma. This place was really nice and the staff was nice and friendly. The food was even better. I've had el Salvadoran food and Pupusas and this was sooo good. The salsa was the perfect spicy. Highly recommend coming to this place if you are in the area. You won't regret it.
